Mobile Control Systems (MCS)Â specializes in the development and manufacture of control input devices, offering both electronic throttles and hand throttles for a wide range of applications.
A hand throttle is a supplementary device to the accelerator pedal and serves the same function: controlling power demand. The main difference is that the hand throttle is manually operated, allowing control by hand rather than by foot input.
Our throttle solutions are equipped with non-contact Hall-effect sensors and can be configured with single or dual analog outputs, with or without an idle validation switch. PWM output or CAN J1939 communication is also available. These solutions are suitable for a wide range of control applications and are not limited to engine control only.
Our products exist in various forms in order to provide the best grip for different kinds of use and vehicles : rotary switch, knob, lever… Our hand throttles are programmable and customizable according to any of our clients’ specifications. These items are compatible with our other products such as position sensors.
